Thom Wilson

11/03/1954 - 13/08/2003

In 1986 Thom and his wife Sue took over the small and horse side of the established vet practice in Kinross and Alphavet took off. From then on Thom's life was Alphavet, the two names were synonymous and became well known for the caring, professional care of local animals (and their owners). He was a man who worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed family life with his wife and three kids to the full, spending hours swimming, cycling, skiiing, computing, practising tae kwon do and the many other pursuits the family enjoyed together.

His sudden and unexpected death while out cycling with his son left both family, friends and practise devastated. However, Alphavet lives on following the prescedents he set out and following his strong principles of professionalism, kindness, caring, all hopefully with a sense of humour!
